Studio Policies

Tuition is $95 per month and is due on the first of the month. This includes 2 – 5 lessons per month during August – May and one recital per semester (winter and spring). These rates are based on 32 lessons and 2 recitals per year at $27.94 per lesson/recital . An optional summer term may be offered during June and July, price TBD. Tuition can be paid in cash or via PayPal (search for Kristin Sternhagen or @havestmeadowspiano) or Venmo (@Kristin-Sternhagen-1)

Discounts: Families with multiple children will receive the following discount: the first child is $95/month, the second $85/month, all subsequent children are $75/month.

The studio operates on a semester schedule as follows:

· Fall Semester – Mid August – December

· Spring Semester January – May

· Summer Semester (optional – dates TBD)

The studio will be closed on the following dates. 

· Labor Day weekend

· Thanksgiving week

· Christmas break 

· Spring Break week

· Easter weekend

· Memorial Day weekend

Regularly attending lessons is important for the success of the student. Please make every effort to attend all lessons. If you need to cancel a lesson, please let me know at least 24 hours in advance. At the end of each month, there will be a group make up lesson for any students who have missed lessons during the month. No shows will not be made up.

If the studio closes due to weather or teacher illness, a credit of $28 per lesson will be applied to the next month’s tuition.
